I have to write this review with a heavy heart because as kind as Roger and Barabra are, my floors have become severly compromised since Roger came in to resurface... read more them a few months ago. I was debating writing a review since I was refunded but I cannot help but feel upset that my beautiful floors are now extremely fragile. I was told it was my floors that were the issue but after getting my money back and having my floors redone, we were able to improve my floors 70% with another company. My floors were sanded very roughly and uneven leaving seams from the sanding machine in the center of each room where the sand operator swtiched directions. I have engineered hardwood floors so they needed to be sanded with care. They were in excellent shape but had some stratches and uneven poly. My issue is that Roger communicated at the very end of the project (when I complained that my floors were wavy & lumpy) that it was the best he could do, and my floors had a lot of layers of poly on them so he had to sand deeper than usual. He also mentioned there was water damage but I brought in a specialist and my floors have ZERO moisture and it was confirmed that there was ZERO water damage. Based on the poor sanding job, I would have ripped the floors out had I known what I know now, and started from stratch. But I was not given that option. I wish Roger communicated with me that they were have issues while sanding. Instead I was out of my jome for 6 weeks, had to get my floors refininshed 2x leaving them weak and basically a thin wood veneer. The second guy came in to remove the machine seams and some (not all) lumps and waves from my floor. I am heartbroken that my beautiful hardwood floors have become comprised by a lack of communication and user error while sanding.

And it was the best decision, I could not be happier with the finished product! Roger and his team did a fantastic job- on time super neat and everything looks great. We had an issue after the new flooring was installed (cabinet installer hit a pipe which caused water damage.) Barb was super responsive in advising what I should do to limit the damage and ultimately Roger came back to repair the floor— you’d never know something happened they look perfect. Redoing a kitchen required working with multiple businesses and hands down working with Barb in terms of scheduling, questions, invoicing and payment was the easiest of all interactions.
